Prabhupada and his helicopter ride

Hansadutta Dasa : Once, during a morning walk there with the German devotees, who had only seen him that one time in their lives, Prabhupada heard a helicopter go overhead. Prabhupada looked up at the helicopter and a devotee commented, "That's a helicopter." Prabhupada said, "Yes, I know. Once Shyamasundar took me by helicopter from Heathrow Airport," and he laughed. He said, "That was Shyamasundar's service but I had to pay." Shyamasundar had made this sensational helicopter arrangement to bypass the London traffic, but in the end Prabhupada paid for it and it was quite expensive. Then Prabhupada told a story about a guru who had entrusted all his money with an expert disciple who made first class programs and arrangements for the guru. Each place they went everything was wonderful, and each time the guru said, "I'm very pleased with you. You have done an excellent job." The disciple said, "It's all your mercy." When they finally completed their tour, the guru wanted to access the money that he had entrusted with his disciple, but the disciple said, "I used your money to arrange all those programs. I told you it was all your mercy." Then Prabhupada burst into an enormous, delightful belly laugh.
