Anecdote of the Day

Sureshvar Dasa : Once I have was with Srila Prabhupada, when the sun was just peeking through the trees on a morning walk in a park in Santa Monica, and a little old lady in the park saw our squadron of saffron moving toward her. I was wondering what Srila Prabhupada was going to say. He didn't say "Hare Krishna," but he said, "Good morning," with very long, gracious tones. The lady gave a nice return greeting and a look as if to say, "This is the most wonderful thing I've ever seen." Srila Prabhupada knew just what to say and when to say it.
