Suggested that the devotees consult an astrologer to see whether it was auspicious for him to travel

Despite his physical condition, Srila Prabhupada was seriously considering going to the West to preach. Tamal Krishna Goswami had first suggested it, lovingly reminding Srila Prabhupada that there was so much unfinished business for Prabhupada in this world. He had offered Prabhupada a suggested itinerary: a visit to London, staying at Bhaktivedanta Manor; then to New York, Pennsylvania farm, then Los Angeles. Prabhupada had carefully weighed up the advantages and disadvantages, and suggested that the devotees consult an astrologer to see whether it was auspicious for him to travel. The messages came from three astrologers: travel should be avoided, and the next two months would be the most difficult in Srila Prabhupada's life. So at least for the next five weeks, keep me very carefully, Srila Prabhupada said after hearing the reports. But the travel plans were not abandoned.
