Inconceivable fact

Hari Sauri Dasa: Immediately after class, as Prabhupada relaxed in his darsana room waiting for breakfast, Harikesa asked some questions about Lord Brahma. He explained that he had read in the Srimad-Bhagavatam that every living entity upon leaving the spiritual world first falls to the level of Brahma. He wondered whether that means that each jiva becomes a Lord Brahma in charge of his own universe, or, as some devotees have interpreted, that he falls to the planet Brahmaloka? Prabhupada confirmed that each living being becomes a Lord Brahma. A little incredulously I tried to grasp this inconceivable fact. "But that means each and every living being has his own universe?" Prabhupada responded rather sharply, "Oh? Srimad-Bhagavatam is wrong? You do not think it is possible for Krishna to give everyone his own universe? For Krishna anything is possible!" We brought up the statement that at the end of the universe, Lord Brahma, as a pure devotee and the head of our spiritual lineage, goes back to Godhead. Prabhupada confirmed that this does not happen to every Brahma. The living beings begin their entanglement in material life from that status and then fall further down as their material desires increase.
