Satsvarupa: He sat down on the floor before a low desk in the classroom, while almost all the children in the entire school and all the adults crowded around to see. Prabhupada called up young Dvarakadhisa, took his hand, and led him in making Sanskrit letters on the page.

Prabhupada had asked for several long sticks, and the devotees supplied poles about six feet long. Prabhupada handled these sticks and said that if any of the children were naughty he would hit them. He had previously told the teachers that they should never actually hit children, but they could discipline them just by showing the stick or touching it. When Prabhupada handled the sticks, the children began giggling, and the older devotees laughed with excitement.

Several of the men couldn't restrain themselves. They came forward, putting out their hands, "Please hit me Prabhupada, please hit me!" Prabhupada began smiling, and he gently hit a few hands with the sticks. What had begun as a lesson for the children turned out to be a "nectar session" for the adults.
