Srila Prabhupada's first residence in New York City

Gargamuni: This was His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's first residence in New York City, 100 West 72nd Street, office in the winter of 1965-66. When it became inconvenient to maintain Srila Prabhupada at the apartment, Dr. Mishra shifted him to his Hatha-Yoga studio on the fifth floor near Central Park. Even in the heavy snow, Prabhupada would walk a few blocks to Dr. Mishra, apt to bathe and prepare prasadam.
