November 14: He left his body in Vrindavana

Dadhi Baksha Dasa: Prabhupada was getting slowly more and more ill, then November 14th, he left his body in Vrindavana. I was there as a pujari. At 7.15 he left after the arati. At that time, arati was 6.30. So at 7 o'clock, arati was finished. Damodarashtakam was going on in the temple. Everybody said, "Prabhupada left," so we all went there. The whole night, we were doing kirtana in temple hall and Vaishnava bhajan. They brought Prabhupada to the vyasasana in a palanquin. We were digging the samadhi there at night. Early morning, at 7 o’clock, we took Prabhupada in palanquin to have darshana of all the seven temples in Vrindavana. I was there. I was playing mridanga. Later, we brought Prabhupada here and put him in samadhi and had a puja. After 1.30 or 2 o'clock, there was a big feast for everybody. Thousands and thousands of people came.
