Jadurani Dasi: On June 6th he went to the Golden Avatar studio of what's-his-name Krishna Kantha Prabhu and he sang gauranga duti pada and played the harmonium. But nobody knew how to play mridanga well at that time. So Prabhupada said, “I'll come back later, and I'll play the harmonium, and Krishna Kantha will dub it in.” Then later on he did that. So, we were able to accompany him to that. He sang gauranga duti pada and also Hare Krishna. Then on June 11th, we were able to have one of our very rare art meetings with him. Present were Parikshit, Murlidhar, Jayarama, Charuhasa, Driti, Dirga, and myself. That was the art department at that time. We went through his large bedroom where he had Jagannatha Deities and his smaller bedroom where he had a skylight where he would take his massage, passing by his brown bookcase, orange curtain, blue walls with golden stripes looking very majestic as they'll fit for a king. But when Prabhupada was present in it, it looked like not any worldly Kingdom but from another world. I had just heard, I had recently heard that Prabhupada wanted the widows of the sannyasis to wear white and have no hair or like a crew-cut hair. So, I did that and some of the devotees were criticizing me, but I'd heard Prabhupada wanted it, so I did it. Then there were many GBC members and sannyasis there. Prabhupada pointed me out and he said, “Just see, this is Vedic culture.” So, I was very encouraged then.
