Srila Prabhupada preachs in sick bed
Brahmatirtha: Just before Prabhupada left this world, I went to India to participate in a conference with Svarup Damodar Maharaj, Sataputa Prabhu, and others. It was the First International Conference on Life Comes from Life. I was a geologist, and I presented a paper on evolution. I arrived in Vrindavan with Atreyarishi, and we immediately went to see Prabhupada. Both of us were shocked to see Prabhupada so thin, just all bones. Prabhupada saw how shocked Atreya was, and he said to Atreya, "I've been preaching to you that I'm not this body. Now you can see that my body is gone but I'm still here. Now do you understand that we're not the body?" Prabhupada used Atreya's shocked expression to emphasize the point that we're not this body.
