Partha Sarathi Das Goswami: In this picture, Srila Prabhupada was sitting in the garden in the afternoon - you can tell by how the shadows are falling. It was also a little cold although the sun was shining. Prabhupada was wearing his chaddar and you can notice that he also has chandan on. This is at 59 Muller Street in Yeoville. I was the temple gardener, so I tried my best to make it look nice. Prabhupada was listening to Harikesha Brahmachari reading from the Chaitanya Charitamrta.
From the photo, you can clearly notice that he was reading. You can also see the picture of Sanatana Gosvami bowing down to Lord Chaitanya. Therefore the sections are on Sanatana Gosvami's shiksha, which is perhaps one of the most important sections regarding tattva in the Chaitanya Charitamrta. It is from the Madhya-lila, Chapters 20 to 23, the four chapters on Lord Chaitanya's instructions to Sanatana Gosvami. Srila Prabhupada summarized these chapters into the Teachings of Lord Chaitanya, which was published before the seventeen-volume Sri Chaitanya Charitamrta.
