Walking through the narrow enterance on the busy Mahatma Gandhi Road, one is transported back in time as it opens onto a sprawling courtyard, with a stone statue of Garuda perched on a four-foot column. The temple's architecture is typical of the times in which it was built, complete with a nat mandir (a pavillion), and a seprate alter space The pavillion has a stone roof with stout pilliars 15ft high.
