Jagat-guru Srila Prabhupada

Sankarshana Dasa: Once upon a time in Calcutta temple, his son came and was interested to see him. That time Pishima was there, Bhavatarini. So Prabhupada said, "I am busy. I have no time to see them." Then Pishima requested, "Just have a glance. Little time." So they met Prabhupada, son Vrindavan and Mathura Mohan for little bit, just had darshana and little talk, that's all, nothing about family matters. He is very determined. Nothing discussion about family matters.

Oh, I have never seen such a great personality in my life. I have seen Sridhara Swami Maharaja, Srimad Bhakti Pramode Puri Maharaja, Srila Madhava Maharaja, then Siddhanta Maharaja, Hrisikesha Maharaja, Audolomi Maharaja, Goswami Maharaja. In my life time I have seen so many Prabhupada's Godbrothers. Particularly I have a very good relationship with Bhakti Pramode Puri Maharaja and Madhava Maharaja. They are my siksha-guru. I have learned that they used to say that, "We have so many Godbrothers. Only one Godbrother fulfilled the desire of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Sarasvati Maharaja." They admit it. Madhava Maharaja admitted it and Bhakti Pramode Puri Maharaja admitted it that, "Only my this godbrother," they used to say Swami Maharaja, "Swami Maharaja fulfilled the desire of Srila Bhaktisiddanta Saraswati Thakura." Also Sridhara Maharaja, he admitted that.

So in that way Prabhupada is jagat-guru. Jagat-guru means who has no attachment for his family, no attachment for any material things, no attachment for fame or money. That is the best quality of Srila Prabhupada.
