Prabhupada's morning walk at seashore, L.A., 1973.

Swarup Hebel : Srila Prabhupada came often to Los Angeles and would stay for long periods of time. At first we were alternating each day taking him for his morning walks to the beach and next day to a park (Cheviot Hills in West L.A.).

So when he came in April of 1973 this was the program, however after a few weeks, one morning at the park Srila Prabhupada remarked, "Of the two I like the seashore the best."

From that day on we were going every morning down to the beach. The only "disadvantage" from our point of view (not view - of hearing) was that it was sometimes difficult to hear what Srila Prabhupada was saying over the crashing of the waves.
